CPEng... Finally!!!

Well I have finally done it! The CPEng application has gone in along with everything else that was required... provided it is accepted, next step is the interview and then I can stop calling myself a graduate and start calling myself a professional engineer! Woo Hoo!

South Africa... Here I come!

11 November armed with Qantas Club membership, the trusty iPod (groaning from an orgy of downloads from the new iTunes aussie store) and my clunky camera I'm heading off to South Africa!

Jo'burg and family for most of it but planning on spending 5/6 days in the middle in Cape Town on my own and go explore (Robben Island, Table Mountain, Stellenbosh and Groot Constantia!). Hopefully there'll be some friendly backpackers to hang with... Back on the 29th.

SAA are promising 'Must love dogs', 'Bewitched' and 'Fantastic 4' on the 11.5 hour flight to Jo'burg and 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and 'Batman Begins' on the 9 hour return... Who needs Greater Union! LOL

One career episode to be signed off and I can apply for CPEng!!!
I've met someone... early days but so far so good.
Carnarvon next week to look at the site for a new sewerage inlet works - FUN.
